Mr. Bishop serves as a President of Blue Fin Capital. Mr. Bishop graduated from Dartmouth College in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In July 1989, he joined Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Company in New York City as a Capital Markets employee. From February 1990 to July 1991, Mr. Bishop was employed as an Associate in Smith Barney’s Over-The-Counter equities department.
In September 1991, Mr. Bishop entered The University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business. He graduated in June 1993 with a Masters degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. From July 1993 to July 1996, Mr. Bishop was employed in the equity research department of Prudential Securities, Inc. in New York City, most recently serving as Associate Vice President.
Mr. Bishop is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR), the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts (ICFA), and the New York Society of Security Analysts Association (NYSSA). As a Rhode Island resident, Mr. Bishop serves on the investment committees of the Providence Public Library and St. Andrew's School. Mr. Bishop serves on the Major Gifts Planned Giving Committee of the Providence Children's Museum.
